University of Wollongong - Deputy Chancellor

UOW elects its' first female Deputy Chancellor
   
The University of Wollongong has elected its' first female Deputy Chancellor, Ms Sue Chapman. Ms Chapman is the Chief Executive and Managing Director of NATA Certification Services International.
   
Ms Chapman was elected unopposed and filled the vacant position left by Mr George Edgar who held it since 1998. Ms Chapman has extensive experience with the corporate, business and health sectors. Ms Chapman expressed her joy at being elected to this prestigious position.
   
"It's a tremendous honour and I hope to follow in the footsteps of George Edgar who has made a significant contribution to the university", said Ms Chapman.
